Over the weekend I had my mini bachlorette get together. When my sister (my maid of honor) asked what I wanted to do, I told her I wanted something simple and really just to hang out. See, this is my second wedding and the thought of having to over drink and then take care of my son the next day just didn't sound appealing. I guess it sounds boring, but to me it was another chance to get dressed up and have a fun girls night-out!
The night before I was on the hunt for an outfit, and I found this dress at Zara. I've always been more conscious of my body, more now that I have had a child. When I put this dress on, it was flattering (surprisingly) and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I was amazed and so happy I'd be wearing something more form-fitting, which I've never done before! I have to say, I kinda felt like Kim Kardashian!
I left the neckline with a soft and dainty necklace as I didn't want to overpower the off the shoulder look. I also added some cobalt blue pumps for an extra pop!
What do you think? Have you ever stepped out of your "fashion" comfort zone and tried something you've never worn before?
