I would normally write about my outfit, but today I wanted to write about what I was feeling. Sometimes, we just need to. 

It's amazing how quickly the leaves change. Sometimes we forget to take a step back to look at the beauty that surrounds us. I try to remind myself of that everyday. As I stare at the leaves on the ground, wind brushing them by my shoes, no longer green but beautiful red and brown, I pause and think about my grandmother. Still can't believe it has been a month since she's passed. Not a day goes by that I think of her, and when I dress and take pics for my blog, I can't help but think of her. She always loved how I dressed and she especially always loved my shoes. I bet she was looking down and thinking, "wow now those are some great shoes! Do they hurt?" Well Nonna, they sure were comfortable as I walked through the leaves thinking of you probably wearing a wonderful pair yourself.
