Happy New Year!
Every year, I reflect about the year in full. What did I do? What didn't I accomplish? What new goals do I have.
2014 was a year that brought me great happiness. I celebrated my sons 1st birthday. He has taught me so much as a new mommy, and I continue to learn everyday through his eyes. He has made me kinder, more forgiving and grateful for the all the love I have around me and the love that I surround him with. I can only hope 2015 will be even better and lessons learned will be through lots of patience and compassion.
I married my best friend. Hubby and I were supposed to get married in 2013, but my son came first. The 2nd best moment of my life was marrying my best friend and having my son walk me down the aisle. Talk about a tear jerker! My hubby is the ying to my yang, and I am lucky spend the rest of my life with him!
2014 also brought me great sadness. I lost my grandmother, the woman who I always wanted to be with when I was young. The woman who loved me unconditionally, never with judgement. She was the woman I went for walks with, The woman who always loved my shoes and her first question to me whenever she saw me was "Were those expensive?" She made the best food, sang the best birthday songs and always put her family first. I have to also admit that I was her favorite granddaughter (sorry girls ha ha, it's officially on the worldwide web!). I miss her everyday and like she always would say in Italian "I'll see you tomorrow, if God wants." Keep watchimh over me, nonna. xo
2015, I'm ready! I'm ready to grow my blog, grow my online shop, take more chances, keep working hard and not to get emotional when I hear the word "no". I'm a softie at heart and I run on my emotions. 2015 I'll be kinder, more patient, grateful and most importantly enjoy the little things in life because they are what's most important!
I wish you all a year filled with love, generosity and good health! I'm thankful you are continuously supportive of my blog and the little things I offer. Let's make 2015 a great one!
